Sacramento Splittail Collections in 2022 in Support of Selenium Exposure Studies

Sacramento Splittail ( Pogonichthys macrolepidotus ) were collected in 2022 for studies investigating selenium exposure. A total of 18 adult individuals were collected from Suisun Bay and a total of 36 juvenile individuals were collected from various locations in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. All of the collected individuals superficially appeared healthy and did not exhibit any spinal deformities.

2022年，为开展硒暴露相关研究，科研人员采集了萨克拉门托裂尾鱼（Pogonichthys macrolepidotus）样本。本次研究共从苏森湾采集18尾成体个体，从萨克拉门托-圣华金三角洲的多个采样点位共采集36尾幼体个体。所有采集个体外观均表现健康，未出现任何脊柱畸形。
