Property Law (PL) and Export Product Quality: A study from the perspective of financial constraints

The paper adopted the back-calculation method to measure the quality of Chinese export products through screening and merging China’s Industrial Enterprise Database and Chinese Customs Database from 2004-2013. To establish the causal relationship, it constructed the Difference in Difference (DID) approach based on the quasi-natural experiment of the Property Law (PL) promulgated in 2007 to study the effect of the law on export quality by alleviating financial constraints.

As per our research goal, we have collected secondary data from the above sources and prepared it for further analysis.

本论文采用反推法，通过筛选并合并2004-2013年的《中国工业企业数据库》与《中国海关数据库》，测度中国出口产品质量。为确立因果关系，研究基于2007年颁布的《物权法》（Property Law）的准自然实验，构建双重差分（Difference in Difference，DID）模型，通过缓解融资约束，探究该法律对出口产品质量的影响。
基于本研究目标，我们从上述数据源收集了二手数据，并完成数据预处理以支持后续分析。
