Agri-environmental measures (AEM) are implemented in accordance with Community rules, as part of the European rural development policy. They are part of the Hexagonal Rural Development Programme (HRDP). Among them, territorialised agri-environmental measures (MAETs) are a scheme designed to apply to specific areas with targeted challenges within priority action areas (Natura 2000 sites and priority watersheds defined under the Water Framework Directive). The perimeters of these territories describe the management areas of unit MAET elements.

农业环境措施（Agri-environmental Measures, AEM）作为欧洲农村发展政策的组成部分，依照欧洲共同体规则实施，并隶属于六边形农村发展计划（Hexagonal Rural Development Programme, HRDP）。其中，属地化农业环境措施（Territorialised Agri-environmental Measures, MAETs）是一项专为优先行动区域内存在针对性挑战的特定区域设计的专项计划，前述优先行动区域涵盖《水框架指令》（Water Framework Directive）划定的自然2000保护地与优先流域。此类区域的边界界定了单个MAET要素的管理范围。
