The paper discusses modern technological approaches and promising areas of development for the production of motor fuels from natural gas. Key industrial processes are analyzed, including Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, methanol production and its subsequent conversion to gasoline, as well as GTL (Gas-to-Liquids) technologies. Special attention is paid to innovative methods such as direct synthesis of gasoline from natural gas. It is concluded that the development of this area is strategically important for diversifying the raw material base of the fuel and energy complex, improving energy security and creating environmentally friendly fuels.
