This project aims to investigate the effects of kaempferol on gut microbiota composition in a mouse model of hyperuricemia using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. By comparing fecal microbial profiles among control, hyperuricemia model, and kaempferol-treated group, we seek to characterize hyperuricemia-associated gut microbiota dysbiosis and to assess whether kaempferol intervention is associated with restoration of microbial community structure. In parallel, this study explores the potential involvement of the gut-kidney axis in the protective effects of kaempferol against hyperuricemia-related renal oxidative stress and inflammation.
