"Uyuni" - Whirlwind

This sculpture is a marble circle an empty spiral space at its centre. Uyuni is a lonesome city high up in the Bolivian mountains (Altiplano). The meaning of "Uyuni" in the Aymara language is "place of concentration". Place of concentration, the calm in the empty spiral centre. The centre of sculpture refers to the place of concentration, at the same time refers to the calm that exists in the centre of the hurricane around which everything is moving.本雕塑为大理石材质的环形作品，中心设有一处镂空螺旋空间。乌尤尼（Uyuni）是坐落于玻利维亚阿尔蒂普拉诺高原（Altiplano）山地之上的孤寂小城。在艾马拉语（Aymara）中，“乌尤尼”的含义为“汇聚之地”。所谓“汇聚之地”，便是这镂空螺旋中心所承载的静谧。雕塑的中心既指代这一汇聚之地，同时也象征着飓风眼的静谧——万物皆围绕该飓风中心流转，唯有此处归于安宁。
