The relative importance of artificial shelters on vertebrate communities and microclimate in deserts.

We examined microclimate at artificial shelters, natural shrubs, and in the open across four sites in Southwestern California, USA. The study was done in the spring and winter of 2022-2023. We camera trapped at each site during each year to examine local vertebrate communities.本研究在美国加利福尼亚州西南部的4个样地中，针对人工遮蔽物、天然灌丛及开阔生境的微气候（microclimate）开展了观测；本研究于2022-2023年的春季与冬季实施；我们在每个样地的每年调查期间均采用红外相机诱捕法，以对当地脊椎动物群落进行调查。
