Permafrost monitoring and prediction in Southern Carpathians, Romania, Version 1

This study monitored the summer temperatures (July and August)of the springs at the base of the rock glaciers' fronts and talus cones of Fagaras and Retezat Mountains. These water measurements have been made since 1986. BTS(bottom temperature of snow) measurements were made in the same areas duringthe second and third weeks of February since 1992.Data are presented on the CAPS Version 1.0 CD-ROM, June 1998.

本研究监测了法加拉斯山脉与雷泰扎山脉的岩石冰川前缘基部泉点及岩屑锥的夏季水温，观测时段为每年7月与8月。该系列水温观测自1986年起持续开展。自1992年起，研究团队于每年2月的第二、三周在上述相同区域开展雪底温（Bottom Temperature of Snow, BTS）观测。相关数据集已于1998年6月收录于CAPS 1.0版光盘（CAPS Version 1.0 CD-ROM）中。
