Dîwân-i-Raḍî (ديوان رضى ).

Poetical works of Mirzâ Raḍî of Artîmân (near Hamadân, or according to others, near Nîshâpûr), who flourished, like the preceding poet, under Shâh ‘Abbâs the Great, see Safînah, No. 724 (col. 236 in the Bodleian Cat.); Khulâṣat-alkalâm, No. 30 (ib., col. 297); Khulâṣat-alafkâr, No. 114 (ib., col. 306); Makhzan-algharâ’ib, No. 858 (ib., col. 333), and A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 538. He was the father of Mirzâ Ibrâhîm Adham, who was put to death in A.H. 1060 (A.D. 1650), comp. Khulâṣat-alafkâr, No. 38 (col. 303 in the Bodleian Cat.), and A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 313.

This dîwân contains:

Ḳiṭ’as, ḳaṣîdas, and a short mathnawî, on fol. 14b, beginning:

سخن بلند شود ورنه گفتمی با تو

كه كيست در پس این روز وشب در کار

Ghazals, in alphabetical order, on fol. 19b, beginning:

زهى طراوت حسن و كمال و نور صفا

كه از جمال تو بيناست چشم نابينا

At the end of this part some tarjî’bands.

A sâḳînâma (ساقى نامه), on fol. 53b, beginning: الهى بمستان ميخانه ات الخ.

Another copy of this sâḳînâma is noticed in W. Pertsch, Berlin Cat., p. 696, 7.

Rûbâ’îs, on fol. 58b, beginning: در ديدن حق اگرنۀ مادرزا الخ .

This copy is dated the 22nd of Jumâdâ-alawwal, A.H. 1077 (A.D. 1666, Nov. 20).
