Voltage-Gated Sodium Channel (VGSC) is the target site of pyrethroid insecticides. Some amino-acid changes on this channel are known to confer resistance against pyrethroids. In this project, we sequenced coding regions of VGSC gene in Aedes aegypti collected in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil by using target capture probe and Illumina MiniSeq.
