Engineering resource information literacy instruction needs of undergraduate engineering students transitioning to practicing engineers

Data, survey questions and interview questions from a research project that looked at information literacy instruction needs for undergraduate engineering students that intend to pursue professional practice directly after graduation. This data was obtained through surveys, interviews and analysis of job ads, syllabi, journal articles and YouTube videos. Various groups were included in the different tools above including engineering librarians, practicing engineers, undergraduate engineering students who had completed a PEY (professional experience year) or co-op placement and instructors, faculty and Teaching Assistants involved in undergraduate engineering education instruction.

本数据集源自一项针对计划毕业后直接从事职业实践的本科工程专业学生信息素养教学需求的研究项目，包含该项目的调研问题、访谈问题及相关研究数据。该数据集通过调研、访谈，以及对招聘启事、教学大纲、期刊论文与YouTube视频的分析采集获得。上述各类调研与分析工具覆盖的参与群体包括：工程学科图书馆员、在职工程师、完成过专业实践学年（Professional Experience Year，PEY）或合作实习（co-op placement）的本科工程学生，以及参与本科工程教育教学的教师、教职人员与教学助理。
