The purpose of this proposal is to use Powder X-ray Diffraction to investigate the addition of alloying elements and cryomilling on the formation of the tetrataenite phase in FeNi-based alloys produced by different processing routes. The data collected will be analysed through the Rietveld method to assess the material’s structural parameters, calculate the Long-Range Order parameter (S) and analyse the material’s behaviour under the temperature variation below and above the disorder-order temperature.
