This code presents a method for automated extraction of rock discontinuities from a point cloud by identifying all triangular mesh units belonging to discontinuity surface. The method directly avoids the interferences of outliers or noise in the point clouds and obviates the defect of a constant window size facing to a varied distribution of rock discontinuity which is a weakness in many other methods. A sensitive analysis indicates that the accuracy of the proposed method is controlled by the clustering parameter h but not highly sensitive.
本代码提出了一种从点云(point cloud)中自动提取岩体结构面(rock discontinuities)的方法,通过识别所有属于结构面的三角网格单元完成提取任务。该方法可直接规避点云中异常值与噪声的干扰,同时解决了诸多同类方法普遍存在的固有缺陷——即采用固定窗口尺寸难以适配岩体结构面的非均匀分布特性。敏感性分析结果表明,所提方法的精度受聚类参数h控制,但对该参数并不高度敏感。
