Thirteen samples of activated sludge were collected from the three full-scale WWTPs (petrochemical wastewater WWTP, a municipal WWTP mainly treating domestic wastewater, and a municipal WWTP treating mixture of domestic wastewater and multiple industrial effluents) at different time points and sampling sites.
