NRS-13282 | Registers of seamen engaged before the Shipping Master [Mercantile Marine Office, Newcastle, Shipping Master's Office]

The registers show: registration number, date engaged, seaman's name, name of vessel, description of vessel, age and birth-place (from 1916 only) of seaman, capacity, last ship, where bound, and master's or owner's name. Instead of master's or owner's name the first volume (5/510) has the master's signature. The description of the vessel is omitted from volumes 5/528 and 5/529. (5/510-29). 20 vols.
