DC in TBI case-control

The impact of DC in children with moderate-to-severe TBI remains unclear.This retrospective matched case-control analysis was conducted on 53 children with moderate-to-severe TBI who underwent DC. Each child who underwent DC was matched with one child who did not undergo DC according to age, Glasgow coma scale (GCS), pupil response, and cranial CT findings on admission, and compare their mortality, Pediatric Cerebral Performance Category (PCPC) at discharge.

针对中度至重度创伤性脑损伤（Traumatic Brain Injury, TBI）患儿，去骨瓣减压术（Decompressive Craniectomy, DC）的临床疗效仍不明确。本研究针对53例接受去骨瓣减压术的中度至重度创伤性脑损伤患儿开展回顾性匹配病例对照分析：按照年龄、入院时格拉斯哥昏迷量表（Glasgow Coma Scale, GCS）评分、瞳孔反应及颅脑CT影像表现，为每例接受手术的患儿匹配1名未接受该手术的对照患儿，并对比两组的病死率与出院时的儿童脑功能表现分级（Pediatric Cerebral Performance Category, PCPC）。
