This series consists of Dealing Minute Papers which have been created during the process through which property is bought and sold. Legal ownership and transactions affecting parcels of land in NSW is documented in records known as dealings. These are lodged and registered under the Real Property Act, 1900 (Act No. 25, 1900). (1)Dealings can cover a wide range of actions relating to the management of lands and include transfer of title, changes of titles (in the event of death or divorce), possessory applications, creation and extinguishment of easements, creation and termination of strata plans, amendments where there are errors in lands records.The Dealing Minute Papers are records which note the actions and procedures which have occurred during the processing of plans and dealings. They consist of paper minute sheets and associated correspondence and are arranged in an alpha/numeric numbering system by dealing number.Dealings are registered in a series. The numbering for the records is as follows:Series 1: pre-alphabetical from May 7, 1863 to December 4, 1911. 本系列包含交易纪要文件（Dealing Minute Papers），此类文件产生于房产买卖全流程之中。影响新南威尔士州（New South Wales，简称NSW）内地块的法定所有权与相关交易，均记录于名为“交易登记（dealings）”的档案中，此类档案需依照《1900年不动产法》（1900年第25号法案）完成提交与注册。[1]

交易登记涵盖土地管理相关的各类操作，包括所有权转让、所有权变更（如死亡或离婚情形）、占有权申请、地役权的设立与消灭、分层产权规划方案的制定与终止，以及土地档案错误的更正。

交易纪要文件为记录规划与交易登记处理过程中发生的操作与流程的档案，包含纸质纪要页及相关往来函件，并按照交易编号的字母数字混合编号系统进行编排。

交易登记按系列进行注册，档案编号规则如下：
系列1：非字母排序系列，时间跨度为1863年5月7日至1911年12月4日；字母序列系列（其中E、I、O、U排在Z之后），时间跨度为1911年12月5日至1995年3月7日。
百万级编号系列（编号范围2,000,000至9,000,000），时间跨度为1996年3月8日至2002年10月1日。
双字母序列系列（AA、AB等），起始时间为2003年9月23日。
