Oakland Markers Julia And Colin McKenzie Fraser

This is a granite headstone for Julia M. L. Whedbee, the wife of Hugh Alexander Fraser. She was from Iverness Scotland, abd passed away in 1876. Their son Colin McKenzie is buried here with her. He lived from 1841 to 1902. There is an inscripture on the top of the headstone that reads "In hope of eternal life", with palm fronds over it. The carving is shallowly recessed.
