Methanotrophic enrichments from freshwater wetland soil

This study investigated the effect of resource concentration (carbon and nitrogen) on polyhydroxyalkanoate-accumulating methanotrophs from a freshwater wetland using an enrichment approach. The 16S rRNA gene (V4-5 region) of the starting soil material, low-resource, and high-resource enrichments were sequenced to evaluate the microbial community composition.
