RNA Sequencing of insecticide resistant isolines of Drosophila suzukii

The goal of this study is to identify molecular mechanisms of insecticide resistance in Drosophila suzukii from California, USA. Isogenic lines were generated from D. suzukii populations resistant to either spinosad or pyrethroid insecticides. Females were entrained in 12hours:12hours LD (light:dark) at 25C for 2 full days and collected 16 hours after lights-on on the third day. RNA was extracted from 8-10 bodies per sample.
