Appendix S4. The evolution of various ecomorphological traits across 93 avian clades. Model parameters and support are reported, as well as support for competition (i.e. support for a trait or diversity dependent model at two AICc units difference from any model assuming lineages evolve independently). Clades are named using avian orders and super-families, and, if clades represent recent radiations within orders and super-families, the node number of the most recent common ancestor for each radiation is marked.
