Forecasting the Flame: Simulating Wildfire Trajectories in the Northeast Mediterranean

IMPORTANT: LPJ-GUESS GCM simulations in this version are deprecated. Version 2 is the current version for the GCM projections. However ERA5-Land simulations and the MODIS dataset in V. 1 are current. Simulation results for burned area and fire probability created in LPJ-GUESS simulations for the research article Forecasting the Flame: Simulating Wildfire Trajectories in the Northeast Mediterranean. The folder contains 3 datasets: LPJ-GUESS historical simulations with ERA5-Land, LPJ-GUESS future projections with five GCMs; ensemble median of burned area, fire probability and fire return period - deprecated, download V. 2 for the current version of these files MCD64A1 burned area dataset used in comparative analysis; FireCCI datasets (MODIS and Sentinel) which were used to assess observational uncertainty.重要提示：本版本中的LPJ-GUESS全球气候模式（General Circulation Model，GCM）模拟结果已弃用。针对全球气候模式投影的当前有效版本为版本2。但V.1版本中的ERA5-Land模拟结果与MODIS数据集仍为有效版本。 本数据集为研究论文《Forecasting the Flame: Simulating Wildfire Trajectories in the Northeast Mediterranean》中基于LPJ-GUESS模拟得到的过火面积与火险概率模拟结果。该文件夹包含3个数据集： 1. 基于ERA5-Land数据的LPJ-GUESS历史模拟数据集； 2. 基于5个全球气候模式的LPJ-GUESS未来投影数据集（包含过火面积、火险概率与火轮回期的集合中位数结果）——该数据集已弃用，如需获取该类文件的当前版本，请下载V.2版本； 3. 用于对比分析的MCD64A1过火面积数据集，以及用于评估观测不确定性的FireCCI数据集（包含MODIS与Sentinel数据）。
