桃實百日青性別調查資料原始檔

本資料集內容與資料為林業試驗所2016年8月至2019年7月之科技部補助專題研究計畫之「台灣森林中雌雄異株木本植物的性別比例、空間分布與環境因子的關係之研究」之部分成果。
於2008年蓮華池森林永久樣區調查資料中，選取胸徑大於4公分的桃實百日青植株，共1151株；在2018年3月起至2019年9月，於花期前往調查其性別表現、更新胸徑資料及存活狀況，以瞭解桃實百日青在蓮華池森林中的雌雄性別表現及胸高直徑。
調查結果中，桃實百日青2008-2018年胸徑平均增長1.7公分；目標植株1151株中，有46株植株死亡，30株植株遺失，6株現場鑑定並非桃實百日青，3株位於大崩塌地中無法前往調查，有268株未調查到性別特徵，798株具有性別特徵植株；具性別特徵的植株中，有雌株499株，雄株293株；其中有6株，在調查期間內紀錄有性別表現不一的現象(即2次調查時，性別不同，亦呈現於資料中)。
除於原定目標植株1151株之外(依據2008年資料)，另有調查到具性別特徵之雌株22株，雄株4株(此為2008年調查時，胸高直徑未達4公分，但在此計畫調查期間內具有性別表現之植株)，接續列於表格1152列之後。本資料集總計有1177筆桃實百日青性別調查。

This dataset is part of the research outcomes of the thematic research project "Study on the Relationships Between Sex Ratio, Spatial Distribution and Environmental Factors of Dioecious Wood Plants in Taiwan's Forests", funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and implemented by the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute from August 2016 to July 2019.

From the 2008 survey data of the Lienhuachi Forest Permanent Plot, a total of 1151 individuals of *Podocarpus neriifolius* (桃實百日青) with a diameter at breast height (DBH) greater than 4 cm were selected. From March 2018 to September 2019, field surveys were conducted during the flowering period to record their sex expression, update DBH data and survival status, so as to clarify the sex expression and DBH characteristics of *Podocarpus neriifolius* in the Lienhuachi Forest.

In the survey results, the average DBH growth of *Podocarpus neriifolius* from 2008 to 2018 was 1.7 cm. Among the 1151 target individuals, 46 died, 30 were lost to follow-up, 6 were identified on-site as non-*Podocarpus neriifolius* individuals, 3 were located in large collapse areas and could not be surveyed, 268 had no detectable sex characteristics, and 798 had identifiable sex characteristics. Of the individuals with sex characteristics, 499 were female and 293 were male. Notably, 6 individuals showed inconsistent sex expression during the survey period (i.e., different sexes were recorded in two surveys, and this information is included in the dataset).

In addition to the 1151 target individuals based on the 2008 survey data, 22 female and 4 male individuals with identifiable sex characteristics were additionally surveyed. These individuals had a DBH less than 4 cm during the 2008 survey but exhibited sex expression during the survey period of this project, and their records are listed after row 1152 of the table. In total, this dataset contains 1177 sex survey records of *Podocarpus neriifolius*.
