Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), the highest price for a home gaming console in supermarkets across the nation was 42,869 yen in May 2015, while the lowest price was 31,785 yen in December 2018. The price difference between the peak (May 2015) and the lowest (December 2018) price periods for home gaming consoles in the national area was 11,083.7022 yen.
