Simulation results corresponding to results figures in the publication titled ‘Comparative simulations of holography methods for ultracold atom trapping'. Created with the aim to compare the use of spatial light modulators (SLMs) to Fresnel zone plates (FZPs) to create arbitrary light waveguides, specifically considering the Fresnel (lenless) holographic technique. Data was created following the simulations outlined in the corresponding paper, using Matlab. The data is saved as CSVs and is organised in folders according figure and subfigure. Cost array files (and figure 7’s propagation data) are saved with relevant axes below the data (alongside units and descriptions). For intensity distribution files and kinoform files, each data point corresponds to a pixel of size 1064nm X 1064nm. Data is produced with funding from EPSRC, DSTL and Leverholme Trust. As such, the data is restricted until DSTL has given permission to publish in this form (as opposed to in figure form within the publication).
