Role of the imprinted allele of the Cdkn1c gene in mouse neocortical development. Mus musculus strain:B6

The imprinted gene Cdkn1c is maternally expressed in the mouse neocortex. However, the function of its paternal allele remains unknown. Recently, we found that the paternal allele of the Cdkn1c gene is expressed at a low level in the developing neocortex. We thus examined the role of its paternal allele in regulation of transcriptome in the neocortex.
