Replication Data for: Podiumkunstenmonitor Utrecht 2016

This Excel file contains data about the 501 concert-, theatre- and dance- performances in the city of Utrecht (The Netherlands), that took place between 5 and 18 december 2016.The data show what kinds of performing art performances (voorstellingen in de Podiumkunsten) are available to the citizens of Utrecht (The Netherlands). It is a “baseline” data collection of 501 organized theatre- and dance- and music performances in Utrecht, to be able to more closely compare (future) developments in these different disciplines. Evert Bisschop Boele developed the first dataset for concerts in 2010, to be able to describe the music available to the inhabitants of Groningen and to provide a broad description of their daily musical context. The Groningen spreadsheet and research questions (where, when, what kind of music, by whom, for what price and at what time?) were the departing point for 2011 and 2013 Musicscapes of the city of Utrecht by Philomeen Lelieveldt. Since our main question was to be able to track future changes in “programming formats” in public and commercial venues, we added questions about musical subgenres, the status of the performers (whether they were professional, amateur or semi-professional). In 2016 we added theatre and dance performances to the Musicscape Utrecht 2016 which resulted in this Podiumkunstenmonitor.

本Excel文件收录了2016年12月5日至18日期间，荷兰乌得勒支市举办的501场音乐会、戏剧及舞蹈演出的相关数据。此类数据旨在展现荷兰乌得勒支市民可接触到的各类舞台艺术演出（voorstellingen in de Podiumkunsten）。本数据集为乌得勒支市501场已举办的戏剧、舞蹈与音乐演出的基准数据集，用于更精准地对比上述不同演艺门类的（未来）发展态势。埃弗特·比绍普·博埃尔（Evert Bisschop Boele）于2010年构建了首个音乐会数据集，用于描述格罗宁根居民可获取的音乐资源，并全面刻画当地居民的日常音乐生活场景。该格罗宁根电子表格及相关研究问题（演出地点、举办时间、音乐类型、演出主体、票价及时长？）为菲洛门·勒利维尔特（Philomeen Lelieveldt）于2011年与2013年开展的乌得勒支市音乐景观研究奠定了研究基础。由于本研究的核心目标是追踪公共与商业演出场所中"节目编排形式"的未来变化，我们新增了关于音乐子流派、演出者身份（职业、业余或半职业）的研究维度。2016年，我们在2016乌得勒支音乐景观研究中新增了戏剧与舞蹈演出相关内容，最终形成了本舞台艺术监测数据集（Podiumkunstenmonitor）。
