Here, we present the dataset associated with the article “Assessing variations in phenology and photosynthetic capacity in Japanese cypress forests using tower-based remote sensing methods” submitted to “GIScience & Remote Sensing” by the same authors. The data are the environmental factor (photosynthetically active radiation and air temperatures), canopy-scale light-use efficiency and net ecosystem exchange, and vegetation indices (NDVI, CCI, PRI, tri-PRI, and RI) recorded in Kiryu Experimental Watershed (KEW, Asiaflux registered site) from June 2017 to May 2018.
