*Pelagornis chilensis* Mayr y Rubilar-Rogers, 2010. Especie de ave perteneciente a una familia extinta que caracterizaba, entre otras cosas, por su gran tamaño y por poseer proyecciones óseas cónicas, en los maxilares y ramas mandibulares, a manera de dientes. Imagen del fémur izquierdo.

智利远洋鸟（*Pelagornis chilensis*）Mayr与Rubilar-Rogers于2010年命名。该物种隶属于某一已灭绝的鸟类科类，其典型特征包括体型硕大，且在上颌与下颌支上生有类似牙齿的锥形骨性突起。本数据集包含其左侧股骨影像。
