This archive contains the fully reproducible analysis code and documented data processing workflow supporting the manuscript: Evidence for an Emergent Sharp‑Interface Regime in Tropical Cyclones: An Optimal Transport Perspective. The repository implements a 1‑Wasserstein (optimal transport) framework to quantify vertical eye–eyewall structural sharpness in tropical cyclones using CloudSat Cloud Profiling Radar (CPR) reflectivity observations (2006–2020). Structural sharpness is computed between adjacent vertical profiles along CloudSat overpasses intersecting tropical cyclone inner cores and aggregated at the storm level. The archive includes: Python scripts to reproduce all figures and statistical results presented in the paper (Figures 1–3 and Figure S5); Processed CloudSat CPR granules corresponding to the storm inventory listed in the Supplementary Information (Table S1); Statistical routines for effect‑size estimation (Cliff’s Δ) and bootstrap confidence intervals; Scripts demonstrating the independence of structural sharpness from storm intensity using IBTrACS v4r01 best‑track data. All scripts are fully documented and are configured to reproduce the published results using the exact CloudSat granules referenced in the manuscript. This archive is intended to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and long‑term accessibility of the analysis.
