The MidcurveNN dataset comprises a set of paired images, namely contour maps and their corresponding midcurve maps. The naming rule is as follows: the contour map is named as I_Profile_mirrored_0.png, and its corresponding midcurve map is named as I_Midcurve_mirrored_0.png. The general filename format is: shape_name_Profile/Midcurve_transformation_parameter.png. This dataset can be used for encoder-decoder models such as semantic segmentation or Pix2Pix to learn dimensionality reduction.
