Materials Data on Hg3(SeF)2 by Materials Project

Hg3(SeF)2 crystallizes in the cubic I2_13 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hg2+ is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to two equivalent Se2- and two equivalent F1- atoms. Both Hg–Se bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Both Hg–F bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Se2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Hg2+ and one F1- atom. The Se–F bond length is 3.32 Å. F1- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Hg2+ and one Se2- atom.
