Archived samples below the pore close off depth in the west-central Greenland D4 ice core were analyzed for a broad range of elements, chemical species, isotopes, and selected gases with the DRI/OSU continuous ice core analytical system largely to investigate the impact of site characteristics (accumulation rate, temperature, elevation, locations, surface melt history, impurity concentrations) on the fidelity of Greenland ice core gas (methane and carbon monoxide) records. Included are measurements from ~63 m depth to the bottom at ~145.4 m.
