资源简介:
Consumption of Westernized diets, consisting of high-calorie, high-fat, high-sugar and low fiber content (HFD) is associated with development of metabolic syndrome and can also increase the risk of the chronic diseases such as colorectal cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Improved understanding of the mechanisms of HFD-related diseases and microbiome dysbiosis are essential for early detection of disease and development of therapies to improve health outcomes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the fecal microbiome changes induced by short-term dietary changes in dogs.
