Avian Nesting Surveys

Nest surveys for Cooper â s hawk (Accipiter cooperii), double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus), golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), great blue heron (Ardea herodias), purple martin (Progne subis), spotted owl (Strix occidentalis), and white-tailed kite (Elanus leucurus) at Santa Lucia Preserve. Includes list of mammals (2001) and birds (2000) observed while the surveys were conducted.
