Data for: Quantifying the relationships between soil fraction mass, fraction carbon, and total soil carbon to assess mechanisms of physical protection

The Dataset_Raw data file includes numbers reported by original study authors, in some cases with transformations from areal soil carbon (Mg / ha) to concentration (e.g., g / kg) using bulk density values. Few other transformations have been performed in the Dataset_Raw file. The Dataset_Processed file includes values from Dataset_Raw as well as those derived from the calculations described in the Methods, Section 2.2. Please refer to the Metadata file for descriptions of column headers.

原始数据集文件（Dataset_Raw）收录了原始研究作者报告的数值；部分场景下，本文件借助容重（bulk density）参数，将面积基准土壤碳储量（单位：兆克/公顷，Mg/ha）转换为浓度单位（例如克/千克，g/kg）。该文件仅开展了少量其他类型的数据转换操作。处理后数据集文件（Dataset_Processed）既包含原始数据集文件中的数值，也包含依据“方法”章节第2.2节所述计算流程得到的衍生数值。请查阅元数据文件（Metadata file）以获取各列表头的详细说明。
