This dataset utilizes data from the Western Regional Climate Center for the Nevada Climate-ecohydrological Assessment Network (NevCAN) transect in the Snake Range for water years 2012-2022. The list of parameters and other metadata can be found in the README.txt. This data implements 3 levels of quality control, each level can be requested by contacting Anne Heggli. The first level is a maximum and minimum range check and rate of change check using the values in the "QC_L1rangecheck.csv." The second level of QC implements dynamic smoothing for predictable errors, such as those caused by diurnal fluctuations during non-storm days, and automatically flags data for manual review. The third level of QC implements manual QC for suspect data, where possible. Some data could not be corrected with any degree of confidence, and the data flag remains "S" as suspect and should not be used in scientific analysis. Each data point has a quality control (QC) flag for O - observed/original data, E - edited/estimated, and S - suspect/poor quality.
本数据集采用西部区域气候中心(Western Regional Climate Center)针对内华达气候水文评估网络(Nevada Climate-ecohydrological Assessment Network, NevCAN)在蛇岭(Snake Range)样带2012至2022水文年的观测数据。参数列表及其他元数据可查阅README.txt文件。 本数据集实施三级质量控制(Quality Control, QC)流程,所有级别均可通过联系Anne Heggli申请获取。 第一级质量控制为极值范围校验与变化速率校验,校验依据为"QC_L1rangecheck.csv"中的相关参数。 第二级质量控制针对可预测误差(如非风暴时段的日波动引发的误差)实施动态平滑处理,并自动标记数据以待人工审核。 第三级质量控制针对疑似异常数据开展人工质控。部分数据无法经任何置信度水平的修正,其数据标记仍为"S"(疑似/低质量),此类数据不得用于科学分析。 每条数据均附带质量控制标记:O代表原始观测数据,E代表经编辑/估算的数据,S代表疑似/低质量数据。
