Data for: Influence of eucalyptus plantations on benthic macroinvertebrate assemblages in neotropical springs

The springs were sampled during the dry season in 2017 along a 5 m long transect in the eucrenal zone. To measure the vegetation cover photographs of the canopy were taken and analyzed. Environmental variables between springs in forest and eucalyptus areas were examined using a T-test. The macroinvertebrates were identified and we applied a Non-metric Multidimensional Scaling (nMDS) to order the sampling sites. The Indicator Species Analysis (IndVal) were used to verify an association of the macroinvertebrates with springs in forest and eucalyptus areas. (2024-05-14)
