VPRS 5014 Court of Petty Sessions Execution Book

This series records orders made at Stawell Court of Petty Sessions to enforce the payment of orders in successful civil cases. The orders permit Police to seize assets owned by individual who has not paid the order, to sell them and then pay the money to the successful party. The volume records the date and case number of the original civil case court order, names of the complainant and defendant in that case, where the execution order was sent, the amount owing, how the order was returned (i.e whether the order was satisfied or not) and the date.

本系列档案收录了斯图尔治安法院（Stawell Court of Petty Sessions）为强制执行胜诉民事案件判令的缴付义务而作出的相关命令。此类命令授权警方扣押未履行判令义务的个人所拥有的资产，将资产拍卖后将所得款项支付给胜诉方。每条记录收录了原民事案件法院判令的日期与案号、该案中原告与被告的姓名、执行令的送达地点、欠款金额、判令的执行结果（即该判令是否得到履行）以及相关日期。
