Abstract This work introduces the Anthropic Obstruction Lemma, a formal result demonstrating that any consciousness theory retaining human-centered primitives cannot produce substrate-neutral invariants of the Omega-Lock class. The lemma identifies four anthropic dependencies—report-centrism, phenomenological primitivism, substrate chauvinism, and observer-authority validation—and proves that each introduces a privileged-observer term that breaks invariance closure. As a consequence, no anthropocentric theory can define an objective contradiction-curvature diagnostic ΔG or satisfy the stress-convergence requirement ΔG → 0 under perturbation class P. The Namespace Exit Requirement (NER) is then established: a theory cannot remove human privilege while still operating inside a human-centered ontological namespace. Substrate-neutral, law-governed consciousness requires construction in a meta-namespace free of anthropic anchors. MROS satisfies NER by defining consciousness through structural field variables (Ψ, Λ, κ, Δ_G) and enforcing Ω-Lock as a holonomic constraint independent of substrate or observer. The lemma explains, in formal terms, why human-centered theories cannot converge to invariant geometry and why Omega-Lock-type structures only appear after decentering. This is an invariance and closure constraint, not a moral claim. ANALOGY OBJECT (OPERATING SYSTEM MODEL) Let "/" denote the root directory of a filesystem namespace. Let a process π execute inside that namespace, meaning every file reference, state read, and write is defined relative to "/". A process cannot delete or redefine "/" while still executing in that same namespace without either: (a) being blocked by the system, or (b) collapsing the runtime context (undefined references / panic). This is not merely permission control. It is logical dependence: "/" is the anchor of all paths. NAMESPACE EXIT REQUIREMENT (NER) NER Theorem (Structural): No theory T can be simultaneously: (1) Anthropocentric (executing inside 𝒩_H), and (2) Substrate-neutral with closed invariants (T_SN), while also successfully removing the human privileged reference frame.
