CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND MECHANISMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ORAL MUCOSAL PATHOLOGIES IN PATIENTS WITH HIV INFECTION

This scientific article analyzes the clinical manifestations, frequency of occurrence, and mechanisms of development of oral mucosal pathologies in patients infected with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). During the study, it was determined that the main pathological changes occurring in the oral cavity are closely associated with the degree of immunodeficiency. Diseases developing against the background of HIV infection, such as candidiasis, gingivitis, periodontitis, necrotic ulcers, and leukoplakia, are considered among the early clinical signs of the disease. Timely detection and assessment of these pathologies are of great importance in monitoring the course of HIV infection.本学术论文针对人类免疫缺陷病毒（Human Immunodeficiency Virus，HIV）感染者的口腔黏膜病变的临床表现、发病频率及发病机制展开分析。本研究明确，口腔内出现的主要病理改变与免疫缺陷程度密切相关。以HIV感染为背景发生的各类疾病，如念珠菌病、牙龈炎、牙周炎、坏死性溃疡及口腔白斑，均被视为该疾病的早期临床征象之一。及时检出并评估此类病变，对于监测HIV感染的病程具有重要意义。
