Statistical tables 2019. Quality of the water bodies of the Basque Country 2019

The Water Framework Directive (WFD) introduced a new concept of diagnosing and monitoring the quality of water bodies, both surface and underground. The concept of water status reflects the degree of human pressure on aquatic ecosystems and the level of deterioration of aquatic ecosystems in relation to unaltered conditions.《水框架指令》（Water Framework Directive, WFD）提出了诊断与监测地表水及地下水水体质量的全新概念。水体状态这一概念反映了人类活动对水生生态系统施加的压力程度，以及水生生态系统相较于未受干扰状态的退化水平。
