Export value PGI sparkling wines in Italy 2010-2020

As of the survey period, the export value of Italian PGI (protected geographic indication) sparkling wines hit its lowest figure in 2011 with about 11.9 billion euros of sparkling wine exported. However, from then on there was a slow increase in the export value of sparkling wine which peaked both in 2016 and in 2019 with 28 million euros. As of 2020, the value was 26 million euros.
