Spain: types of social media accounts followed Q3 2023

As of the third quarter of 2023, the most common type of social media account followed by internet users in Spain was closer contacts like friends, family, and acquaintances - about six in ten Spanish online users did so. Bands, singers, and musicians were the second most followed type of social media accounts in the country, with approximately 34.2 percent of internet users in Spain following such accounts.
