The dataset contains the target load classes of the road superstructure for the Hamburg City Road Network. The dimension-relevant load B (sum of the weighted equivalent 10-t axis transitions in the period of use) for determining the target load classes was determined in accordance with Method 1.2 of the Guidelines for the Standardisation of the Overhead Structure of Traffic Areas (RStO). With the exception of the gradient factor fz, all other factors included in the corresponding formula were determined from the data stored in the Hamburg Road Information Bank (e.g. average daily heavy traffic load, lane width, number of lanes). Only for the determination of the slope factors there are no grid data, therefore a maximum longitudinal inclination ≤ 6 % was applied for the calculations. Furthermore, the calculation in the expansion areas of the nodes could not be calculated, as road widths and number of lanes are generally not consistent. For the line network connection it was therefore necessary to close the intersection between the calculation results meaningfully. For construction preparatory measures, the target load classes in the line display are therefore only partially suitable, in nodes a detailed examination is absolutely necessary. The data record explicitly only represents the target load class and not necessarily the actual load class currently present on the respective road.
