Online grocery retail spend share of select retailers Australia Q3 2023

As of the third quarter of 2023, grocery retailer Woolworths held the largest share of Australia's online grocery retail spend, with a share of almost 45 percent. Supermarket rival, the Coles Group, came in second, with a share of approximately 29 percent. Online marketplace Amazon held a larger share than supermarket chain IGA, despite specializing more in other segments such as electronics, home and kitchen products, and leisure and entertainment.
