MSEs in LATAM countries

This research work is based on the data collected by Vázquez and Tayaksi (2020) whose purpose was to discuss the connection between SC practices and productivity. Now the objective is extend this analysis to know if different variables such, the time that the manager dedicates to different activities, characteristics of the manager: gender, age, level of education and country are affecting the performance of the company in SC and BP. The database is divided into three sheets, in DB1 the characteristics of the manager are observed, the questions validated in Business Practices (BP) and in Supply Chain Practices (SC) and the calculation in the indices by area and in total for BP and SC. In the last column you can see the cluster to which the company belongs after performing the Two Step Clustering. The second Excel sheet (DB2) also shows the name of the company and its characteristics, the name of the analyst, the day in which the data was taken, the start and end time of the activities by functional area and how many minutes spend . Finally, it is recorded if the activities were finished, important and planned. In the third Excel sheet (DB3) an SQL query of database 2 was made, to calculate the percentage of activities finished, planned, and planned that were finished by company, in addition to a summary of the minutes invested by company in each functional area.
