Ngurrara Rangers R4/P1 - Djugerari Community, WA - Jila site Management at Fitzroy River

Under the direction of the Yanunijarra Prescribed Body Corporate, the Ngurrara Rangers are working to address the visions of Traditional Owners within the 85,000 square kilometre Native Title determined area in the Great Sandy Desert of WA, 'We want to be back on country, we want to be in control, we want to look after our country'. Participants will work to manage important conservation and cultural sites within this area, with a particular focus on the management of National Heritage listed freshwater sites to maintain their ecological and cultural integrity.
