UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) Sampling Survey 1970/14: Southern Approaches to Sea of the Hebrides (19/Sep/1970 to 14/Oct/1970)

This sampling survey has been carried out by the Hydrographic Department of the Ministry of Defence, the survey took place from September to October 1970 in the Sea of the Hebrides on board HMS Hecla. They provided sample material to the Institiute of Geological Sciences (now BGS) who provided a geological determination. These data are archived by BGS. No BGS survey report currently available.本抽样调查由英国国防部水文局（Hydrographic Department of the Ministry of Defence）牵头实施，调查于1970年9月至10月期间在赫布里底海（Sea of the Hebrides）开展，作业搭载于皇家海军赫克拉号舰艇（HMS Hecla）。调查团队将样本材料提交至英国地质科学研究所（Institute of Geological Sciences，现英国地质调查局BGS），由该机构完成地质鉴定。本次调查数据由英国地质调查局（BGS）归档保存，目前暂无对应的BGS调查报告。
