Employment participation; change of working position non-working population

This table contains figures on changes in the employment position of persons. These are persons aged 15 to 75 in the Netherlands, with the exception of persons in institutions, institutions and homes (institutional population). Central to this are changes from the non-working population to the employed and unemployed labour force. On a quarterly basis, the employment position of persons at that time and the employment position is given a quarter earlier. The non-working population is divided into different categories. Data available from: 1st quarter 2013 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Amendments as of 14 November 2023: The figures for the third quarter of 2023 have been added. Amendments as of 15 November 2022: None, this is a new table. This table has been compiled on the basis of the Occupational Population Survey (EBB). Due to changes in the EBB’s research design and questionnaire, the figures from 2021 onwards are not necessarily comparable to the figures until 2020. The figures in this table on the labour force, unemployed labour force and non-working population have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the labour participation table, seasonally adjusted key figures (see paragraph 4), recalculating the results for the period 2013-2020 in order to align with the outcomes from 2021 onwards. In further detailing the results by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new methodology. When will there be new figures?
